My local club stores all of its targets and tools in this steel storage container.

We use pull carts to carry the targets 200 yards down the road to the course. The guys have been using makeshift pallets near the door to clear the 8" transition. Kinda sucked getting that cart back into the shed after a match, so I helped out today.
I butcher'd up some 2 X 6's and made something a bit more permanent.

Had to notch out the plywood and stringers so the bottom of the door latches would clear when swinging open/closing.

The next match should be more more easy...

We used to do the same thing at the Diablo Club until the local county supervisors decided the carriers did not meet local housing codes and we had to get rid of them. The supervisors are getting kick-backs from local contractors no doubt. Too, the supervisors thought the other rats needed better better housing...

That's a clever solution, Terry.
Your notching is top notch.
Your framework stringers remind me of building an airplane wing.

Tim backs up his truck to load/unload his 5' air tank stored inside. So I made sure to double up the stringers. Then I put gravel under the 3/4"plywood.
Shed survived the Creek Fire last year. Lets hope they don't get another one going through anytime soon.

Thanks. Decking screws only. No nails to back out.
