Received my new Chinese B1-1 in the mail this morning. .22 caliber. 8)
I was quite surprised. This came double boxed,(still weirdly done, but double boxed.)
The outer box was huge, you could have put 2 of the inner rifle carton in. No packing between the two,so the inner had shuffling around room.
The inner box was just big enough for the rifle,so I guess standard size. No damage!
Opening that I found the rifle sealed in a large bag. Styrofoam over front and rear sight. Came with a manual,of sorts.
A tin of 200 pointed pellets was included.(Plastic case, screw top, and no deformities.)
Gave it a wipe down, oil everywhere. Stock looks pretty good, but one filled knot. Bluing is great, everything appears to be straight.
Rear sight adjustable for elevation(slider) front sight for windage .Has a globe.
No butt plate, the rear of the stock has grooves.
Trigger was a bear at first, but within about 20 shots it became nice, Non adjustable, direct sear engagement.
I replaced the breech seal right off. It was just a piece of mooshed leather. Dried out.
Don't have ANY breech seals for a break barrel, so I made a seal out of a rawhide shoestring.
The pellets don't fit. They get stuck putting them in the chamber . I tried Daisy and Crosman Premieres, and they both work fine.
These pellets DO work in my B3...
I had hoped to get inside, but I've never been in a B1 and don't know how. Different than the B3's
So anyway, I'm happy. Here's some pics..

That’s so cool W! Glad that it is a beauty. I have never had a B1. Or a B3. Or a B anything. They look like fun rifles. Can’t wait to hear more about this one. I hope it’s a true winner for you. I know you like projects. Now you will ha e a couple shooters for the summer months. Take care bud!

If it had a leather breach seal, then, it also has a leather piston seal. Put a couple, or three drops of Neetsfoot oil down the transfer port, and let it stand upright, over night. That'll swell the piston seal. If you don't have the Neetsfoot, you can use pure silicone oil.
Also, an o-ring will work just fine, for a breach seal.

Thanks,everyone!
I did try some o rings on the breech seal.....that's a deep pocket, and one is not enough and two is too many.
The leather will work until I find something better.(had one kicking around a few years ago and threw it out, thinking I wouldn't have any need for it.) :o
Still going to attempt disassembly; nothing out there on how to do it. Have to make some kind of a plug.

Hope she is a good shooter for you ! Wendell. Congratulations!

Wendell .....I can use rubber Fawcett washers for breach seals in my B-3. Best Wishes - Tom

Thanks,Tom.
I've seen that done. Won't work the same on this B1. Actually need a ring. Rawhide shoelace kind of works, but found the pocket kind of deep.
So this morning went scrounging around. I found a tiny piece of plastic coated wire that I cut and shaped and dropped it in. My rubber O ring sits
on top and sticks out just enough!!(I had tried floss yesterday with so-so results.)
Now trying to get the sights zeroed. Still pondering a disassembly.
Thanks again!
