Just got my Dragonfly in and was gonna put the ldc adapter from my cp1-m on it, but after removing the factory muzzle piece/front site, it was obvious that it isnt turned down as small as the cp1. I tried a Crosman ldc, but its a little too small. Still can't find my caliper, so I can't measure.
Anybody measured theirs yet?

If you intend to use an adapter on a none threaded gun it is very important to get one either made to fit or is a tight fit. Barrel sizes vary from gun to gun and a loose fit can cause problems with clipping and can damage an expensive LDC, so be careful just trying adapters from other guns on it, Neil.

I used a foredom tool to turn down the barrel. But it was about 20 thousandds bigger than a crossman barrel.
-
So I just went and measured. It was just behind the pressed in flares that hold the muzzle brake on. The ldc is on there permanently now. It was .462".
-
should be .472 or 12mm

No it's .462. the end is turned down .010 about an inch and a half twards the breach after the muzzle brake impression.

that's good to know.. other barrels from that vendor are turned down to 10mm at the front and rear.

You can barely see the point they turn it down

How loud is it with that on it?

That's always a hard to tell kind of thing. I kinda judge on how loud it is compared to what it hits. So unless it's a Springer this one falls into the 100% category.
It's a TKO made for a crosman.
A puff is what you hear, and then hitting a wet log is much louder.

I have a TKO on my 1322, but I have a dragonfly on the way. I was hoping it would fit the Dragonfly and make it just as urban friendly as my 1322 ;D

I am finding the crack of the DF to be a reward for pumping it 8 times, but I have other silent options to shoot.
Good to know their are options on the market already though :)

not sure how the OP made this fit , .462 is substantially larger than the .436 tko brake

I'm not the OP but it was super simple. I used a foredom (like a dremel but way better) and a diamond Burr. I just covered the area with sharpie and removed the sharpie and repeated. It took a few hours, but the end result was "dang" near perfect.

TKO makes one for a AriMax Varmint
