Title: Cascading SCBA tanks ?
Post by: solder on April 15, 2018, 06:40:08 PM
Is it better to cascade 2 - 30min tanks or just use 1 60min tank?

I think its better to use 2 30min assuming you fill with the lower pressure one first followed by the higher pressure to finish.

Might look into one of these. I just got one and its well made. I did not get the cascade combo as my AV tank has a Din300 connection.

Yes, I would use one tank to fill and the other to top off.

+1 to the above just got my Stikman it is a well made unit and works as advertised. At some point I will make use of the built in cascading feature.
