Title: Shoebox F 10 to compressor filters needed?
Post by: Nvreloader on April 15, 2018, 12:44:21 PM
Guys

My new F-10 arrived, time to set up the filters from the air supply compressor to the Shoebox,
I briefly turn on the SB to hear it run, very quite etc, the Ser# of 1518E1613.

I have been reading/go thru all the 60+ pg's of this section, starting on pg 64 and going forward, on pg 32 now,
and have been seeing several posts on humidity etc, around here the average humidity runs 10-15%, FWIW,
except when raining/snow on the ground, and most of this geek speak is over my head etc.

The air supply compressor is a contractors grade Hitachi 1155, with 100' of supply line, to the SB,
I just need to find/attach the air dryer's and also have a 2-4 gallon compressor, with a blown motor,
(as it couldn't stand up to the construction of the new house), to add more volume from the Hitachi if needed.

I have a SS CGA 347 adapter from the CF tank with Ninja Micro hoses for attachment to the CF/SB/AG cylinders
with HPA rating of >4500 psi etc.

Still waiting on the CF tank, last scan is when it went to TX, then disappeared, no more scanning since the 04/03,
so if any of you southern guys show up with a new CF tank on your door step, you didn't order,
I would appreciate a pm......... ;)

I would greatly appreciate a concise method/posts for adding the air dryers, with photo's would be a great help etc.

Thanks,
Don

When I got my Freedom 10 I ran it with double driers on the input compressor and nothing on the output. Now I wasn't filling from empty, I took my tank and had it originally filled at a shop and was using the Freedom to top it back off, does a great job. Since then I have bought the gold filter from aliexpress and used it on the output of the Freedom and didn't get any noticeable moisture in that filter.
