Title: Findlay Ohio Airgun Show
Post by: 45flint on April 14, 2018, 02:29:50 PM
Just got back home and the show is still going on.  I live close to this one.  Shows like this are kind of overwelming cause you see so many guns all at once.  I’m so close that I got there early and paid the fee for a hour early entrance.  Worth it to me cause in an hour I’ve pretty much know if there is something I want and the competition is much less.  Below is a slide show to give you a feel.  Came away with two rifles and a awesome metal target a guy makes, oh and lots of pellets.  Will show you my purchases later just got back and haven’t even taken a shot! Lol

Bought two rifles, a Beeman C1 is new condition and a probably 1950s Diana 50 in excellent shape as well.

Thanks for sharing the slide show, and looks like a good score on the two rifles, congrats (another underlever tap-loader...you lucky dog)! That airgun show looks like there was a lot to see. I gotta get out more...

Looked like a great show, I need to get out to these.  Wish I lived closer to any of them.

Thanks Bill C!

You just need to think of it was a weekend get away.  Findlay is one of the nicest small towns in Ohio.  I needed a break and had a awesome breakfast downtown.  There is a renaissance going on in some of these small Ohio town’s downtown.  My hometown Wooster which is on the way is awesome now with small stops and great eating.  Ohio Amish Country is the number one tourist attraction or how about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

When I went to the Kalamazoo Airgun Show, I took some time to run by the old original Gibson Guitar factory.  Though it was just a drive by it meant something to me given I play and collect guitars.

I'll keep you in mind if I get the demolition job on an old Gibson factory in Nashville.

I am the guy who bought the Walther LGV sitting next to that model 50. Pretty happy with it. It is as new. It came with tools, sight inserts and paperwork, all in a factory box. Unfortunately those came with self destructing seals so I will have that to deal with. I also got a Hammerli Master pistol that works great.
The show was great, the next one is in Columbus in June. Can't wait! ::)

I was at that table really early and unknown to me he still had some stuff under the table.  Came back from my breakfast break and saw the Diana and said where did that come from, he had another rifle under the table as well!  Never know.  I saw and hefted that Hammerli Master, cool gun just haven’t crossed the CO2 frontier yet. Lol  Never saw the Walther LGV.

Seems to me I saw a post on Facebook with that one in the box scoped up?! I just hope, with my tax refund coming soon, that I can find a Crosman model 70! I'm on the list to get notified for a Remington 725 VTR by Crosman when this " coming soon" BS is finally over. Gotta get another A-frame gun rack too...
