I was exposed to the Dark Side some time around October 2017. After daring to visit the GTA forums I was caught in the vortex and drawn towards the “cash” black hole that is the PCP world. Purchased a Gamo Urban and pump and started my conversion to the Dark Side. I have shot two tins of pellets through the Urban (3 pumps per shot = 3000 pumps). All this pumping is drawing me back to the light as I’m seeing stars by the end of an extended shooting session. :o And yes, I know how someone will chime in that their granny pumps up their gun and how I should man up or use better technique. I already work a physical job and can handle the pump it just takes the fun out of it for me. My conclusion is that hand pumping is OK if I’m going on a woods walk or hunting… but for extended shooting sessions not so much.
So I started looking for an SCBA tank and scored a really good deal on a 45 minute tank with current hydro and 9 years of life left. Then started looking around for a fill station for it and purchased the Stikman. So far I feel like I've entered the Dark Side without too much spending. I’ve gotten lucky in that the local firehouse (within walking distance) will fill it for me and already did. That said I have a second source of HPA that I will be also exploring.
What got me into PCP was the affordability of the entry level rifles. Right now I’m waiting for the same thing to happen with HPA compressors like the AV, Omega, Hatsan… bring those puppies in at $1000. and under… and the Dark Side will grow exponentially and devour the air gun world. I’m currently in a degrading orbit around the outer perimeter of the Dark Side…

Yong Heng compressor, takes me longer to refill 6 magazines than to pump up my rifles. ;D ;D
Since I got my compressor I have spent more on pellets than the cost of the Yong Heng (1 1/2 yr old)

I'm waiting for the 500 bucks Air venturi compressor.
