After doing this build for a customer I am super pleased. Custom SSG some lightening and a 23cuin bottle this rifle is shooting 200 shots with JSB 10.34 AT 905fps average with an 18 for extreme spread from 3000psi to the reg.
What kind of power and how many shots do others get with a factory gauntlet and large tank? I'm curious to see the difference
Love these guns.

Can’t help you because I don’t have a large tank but I can agree with you that I love the Gauntlet.

I'm thinking Mark is going to be pretty stoked!

He got his gun from me last night, he was pretty excited!
I mean 200 shots is awesome, that's 20 shots each day a week before the match, 20 shots at sight in and a 60 shot match.
I couldn't believe I was at 100 shots and the gauge was only at 2300psi.
How's your new PCP coming? Did the gentleman who posted about coming to the match from Pine Grove make it?

My rifle is still in progress. I switched to a Hawke Airmax 6-24x50. Although the Sightron definitely had better glass (exceptional really), the ranging just didn't prove itself. I'm in the process of ranging the Hawke sidewheel. I should have it ready by the June match.

Ok, you've got my attention! 200 shots from a 3000 psi charge? Is this Gauntlet a .177 or .22 or .25? Where can I see and/or buy such a bottle? How about posting a photo of your handiwork? I've had my .22 Gauntlet about a month now and I've made great progress reworking the trigger and while it's not what I would call "excellent" it is certainly "very good"... one ragged hole at 35 yards is now possible with Crosman 14.3 gr domed pellets. 200 shots from a single charge would be a great next step.

Replaced the 13ci bottle with a 23ci bottle (https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=136232.0)

This is the first step,
You can find the bottle in one of the links on this post∆∆∆∆
Not only did I just add a bottle, I manufactured a SSG and did some other internal mods. The SSG really helps conserve air. It is a .177, so if it was installed on a .22 it should be a little more efficient if it was tuned.
