Title: Light weight hammer material

I’m not 100 % sure of what material to use for a light weight hammer . Which would be better and why . Teflon or MDS.

MDS, Teflon is much too soft....

I agree Teflon is way too soft. The other alternative that I might try is Turcite Red. I've been using the Blue for a few years for valve poppets and the work well.
