VERY pricey !!

I watched that one all the way through. Amazing what a piece of wood combined with a peep can fetch.
-
It’s also very good marketing and presentation, something missed by so many sellers. It’s nice but “presentation grade”? but excellent pics to max impact.
I saw the total opposite when I bought my Crosman T&C last month. Just a couple really poor photographs. The gun was filthy and it showed. I think with the rifle polished up now and a series of 12 close up pics I would get 50% more on the bay right now. But he probably doubled his money and made a quick sale?

I normally ridicule these overpriced transactions but I may be rethinking my stance..... you go, boys. Thank you for increasing the value of my guns.
-
Figured wood is rare make the most of it! I love it. To Sheridan’s credit they never went cheap on wood.
-
I’m ok with paying a good price for good guns (when I have the $) but this was about $250 over what I would have paid. If the figured wood included the forearm I'd be all in at that price.
I agree Steve…it’s all about presentation.

+1 there. That would be a beaulty with matched wood.

Even with matched wood that gun might get me to put out $275ish.
I'm not at all judging what others are willing to pay.

Isn't "565fps average" a little low at 8 pumps for such a fine condition Streak? Just seems priced a little high (for my part) for a gun that seems to shoot a bit on the slower side. Could just need a lube, but if it doesn't......

Yes, it is low & a little oil may fix that. If not, the buyer is going to have to live with it, or have it worked on. I think a " bidding war " drove up the price of it.

Yes, that to me is low and was a real warning sign. Anyone that can give you a Chrony reading probably oiled the gun and has done what he could. All that glitters is not gold? Or there’s no cure for stupid?
