I’ve been obsessing over a repeating action for the last couple of months to no avail. With the success of the .257 and other caliber using long .630 “ + ammo and barrel twist rates that match . It’s a wonder no one has made a repeating action to suit. I understand it’s a market issue with bullet shooters being few in comparison to pellet shooters . Until a manufacturer builds one my search will continue . I should mention the closest I've found has been the Evanix sniper in .45/.50 which can take a bullet length of .60” . I think the ultimate repeater breech/ magazine assembly would accept a full 1” regardless of caliber .

Sumatras have long magazines, also Evanix AR6s have long mags.

The Sumatra mag...at least the old metal ones..run about .62".
I have seen a post way-back when (hopfully the poster still lives/still posts) of an AR 4-A -6 with a really long magazine (cylinder), which he couldn't figure out a reason for (it was factory made, not a "one off", but darn if I could figure out why it had such an extra long mag.). Wish I could fiond that post for the picture, but it seems not to be.
Which means, so far as the Sumatra mag/cylinder ystem as it is, could launce 55gr. .22 slugs/ bullets with a bit of room to spare...but he larger calibers would get crownded.
usually bolt stroke is a built in part of the system...bolt travel is linked to the stroke of the striker, and both are set for the magazine length. Chnage one, and you pretty much have to change the other factors dpendnt upon striker stroke.
