Well finally took the time to do some work on my other B26 which has the thumbhole stock. I did some wood work first and cut down the high comb along with doing some reshaping around the grip since I'm a lefty. All looked good so it was shot with primer several day's ago cured and onto the camo. I had this idea of taking the Tiger Strip camo design then laying several leaves over it. I shot the background camo then laid out some Tiger Strip patterns with highlight's around the edges. After that cured I threw some colorful leaves here and there and called it done. I'm waiting for the camo to cure then will shoot it with Matte Clear to seal the deal. I think it turned out pretty cool hehe and I like the Tiger Stripe pattern in the back ground then the leaves on top. Click on the pic's to get a closer view of the detail. Ed

Hey Ed, that's fantastic! I'm already a fan of tiger stripe camo, but your version outstanding, it looks 3D!
-
Thanks brother and the more that I look at it the more I want to finish it up and get it in the wood's hehe. Ed

I want tiger stripes, with out the leaves, grey gun black stripes.
Not that the leaves don't look good, but I have no need for real camo. The beer cans I hunt, Don't see to well. I can literally walk right up to them, and shoot them, though it's not so sporting that way.

I've also found that you don't even need to be down-wind of 'em...their sense of smell isn't too good, either. :>)

Thanks again brothers and she's in the Hunting Gate now posing with a Bandit harvest. Ed

Your work is amazing. Do you use an airbrush or rattle cans? how does one know when the paint has fully cured? I usually ruin my jobs by hiiting it with clear coat too soon.
-
Thanks and I airbrush my designs . I like to let the paint cure for about four day's then shoot the clear on and then let that cure for another four day's. I have a small heat booth in my shop that I hang the stock or other part's in to help the curing process. Ed

Ed,
What would you charge to paint a Big Cat Stock w/Scope? Could you do a "Desert Digital Theme"?
Thanks CV
-
I would be afraid to use it for fear of damaging such a beautiful piece of art. You know that leaves are fragil after they dry.
-
Awesome as usual Bro! They just keep looking better and better and I didn't think you could get any better, he he.
-
Very impressive.
-
Wow that's an amazing paint job
-
Thanks brothers. Ed
-
Seems you just keep getting better,Ed! I would be hesitant to take that into the woods! Deserves a place on the mantle in a glass case! In fact, if you send it to me, that's exactly where I'll put it! ;) ;D ;D ;D

PS....Kindly include the rest of the B26!
