A Crosman 760-D from June of 1997 in really nice shape?

Definitely worth that, way to go.

You can easily drop a current production rifled barrel for the m4177 in it and it'll be quite a bit more accurate.

This is the 760-D,  it came with a rifled barrel. When I saw it was the D I knew right away what it had.
My neighbor is the "go to" guy in this town for small engine repair. Snowblowers/lawnmowers. He said he did some work once for someone that passed this along to him. It even has a Tasco 4x15 scope on it.
No rust,no paint specks,no dings no scratches. It's been stored.
Even running a cleaning patch through,I got nothing.
This is 6/97 so that puts it at variant 8---between 1991 and 2001 with the rifled short barrel, with pressed on sights.

I did a barrel length comparison ( my 760-C has the replacement barrel  MK177-010) Looks to be the same.

Nice score Wendell, this is what I call an exchange of good services! It's very clean indeed. Funny thing, not too long ago, I got one from 1999 with a Tasco 3-7x20 scope on it, really like it. Hope you enjoy yours  :D

Somehow I didn't catch that it's got the rifled barrel.

I cross checked the Crosman Green forum... the 760-d is one to look for.
I have since come across a list of variations through the years someone posted, somewhere, and copied it off. I'll have to look for it.
Believe it to be the last rifled barrel before they went to a pellet clip. Since the clip,I think they've been smooth bore.
