Title: How to remove Norica Black Eagle muzzle break

Anyone know how to remove the muzzle break from a Norica Black Eagle?  I've tried heating it up and tapping it off with a block of wood with no luck. Looks like it's just a press fit.

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread as I tried to remove mine as well and could not find anyone who successfully was able to remove it without destroying it by carefully cutting it off. I am not ready to try that.

I finally figured how to get the muzzle break off.  The barrel only sticks into the muzzle break about 1.25 inches.  I heated the muzzle break with a heat gun in that 1.25 inch area until it was very hot (but not melting).  The heat softened the plastic (or maybe some glue?) and then I tapped it off using a piece of wood. 

Good thing because the crown on the end of the barrel looked like it was done with a chisel.  May explain why the accuracy sucked. I re-crowned it tonight.  Will have to see if that helps.
