Title: Scope for longer distance at higher magnification

For shots over 100 yards, often there are not enough reticle marks to the holdover. What do you recommend or use?

I think they're called FX no limit mounts, but they allow you to tip your scope using the mounts for elevation adjustment and you zero your scope at a further distance, this leaves you with more aim points left over.

I've only taken a few shots at or over 100 yards with the Galatian, but the Hawke Airmax 3-12x50 30SF IR w/AMX reticle I have parked on top of it has 10. The 4 dots at the top and the 6 lines of the lower block are all mildot spacing and the 5 lines in the "tree" are spaced at 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5. It works at least for me and if I happen to want say 3 1/3 mildots of holdover, the reticle is marked for it.

Tom, that is neat for $69

Steve, indeed this scope can go over 100 yards with all the lines utilized. Based on Chairgun at 12x the scope can manage 122 yards.
