I own a Huben K1. I love the semi-automatic with 19 pellets. I have a compressor that can pump it up to 4700psi. I can not wait to order the next one if it ever comes out. I would love to know the pros and cons from you guys that know what you are doing with pellet guns. ;D

Here you go Dennis, plenty to read here. Regards, Tom

Hi there Dennis, as Tom said earlier there's plenty to read and just for the record it's not an easy rifle to have, but thanks to a good community there's been some progress lately (.....still more to come!!!!)
You can also check the review that Matt Dubber does on the rifle.
Another thread on the swagging kit that Huben released not long ago and it's being tested by some Huben owners and as far as I know they will report back with the results, you can search it in airgunnation just type "Huben swagging kit".
All the best

Hi Tom,
I know that you've got your Huben back ! :D :D :D and that you're also a member of the South African Huben Owners forum, have you got in touch with "Kaidu" because that guy has made a lot of work and progress on the gun and also he has been testing slugs.
In other matters, are you going to work again with Nick Nielsen to develop a slug for the Huben ?
Bye bye, I'll post more often in GTA about it.

Hi Alejandro, I got the slugs back also. And I just got in 3000 34gr JSB monsters that shoot well also. Trying to get situated with an American Tactical .22 PCP - Pumper, but it's been a rough go. Also trying to get my AAA .357 Slayer to shoot right, it's still giving me trouble. I've been selling off some of my guns, I have way too many, and still want more. I have about 92 guns at present. Regards, Tom

WOW !!!! 92 that's a lot of guns jajajajaja, well the first time I shot the Monsters didn't go so well but I think I'll give them a second chance. For my Huben the JSB redesign is the best shooter tho only difference is that I've been sorting them out using the pelletgage (sidenote: Thanks Jerry for all the help and such a nice guy to do business with), I have 4 tins the majority are 5.56mm/0.2188 head diameter haven't weigh them yet so I'm going to the range this weekend to try out the sorting of the pellets, of course I'll report back.
I'm also going to shoot the NSA HP slug 0.222 33gr that Nick send me (there's a new batch in the way with a different size).
I'll try both of them at 50 and 100 meters.

first time I shot monsters I got 5/8" to 7/8" groups at 20 yards inside. After using Gregors method to set the reg the groups are less than 1/8". I did get a 7/16" group at 50yards. With the power valve turned wide open, and the reg at about 100bar, turn the reg up until the gun is shooting 10m above the speed you desire. Say you want 960fps then turn it up to 990fps and then turn the power valve down until it's at 960. Also shove all pellets to the far end of the magazine so they enter the barrel the same. That's worked well for me. Regards, Tom

It turns out that Gregor's method has not work out as expected for my rifle, nevertheless it shrink my groups but nothing to call a great improvement I'll have to test it again now, maybe it changes.
My last shots with the Huben I just setup the reg on 160 BAR and adjusted the power wheel until I get the desire velocity in the chrony (between 950 and 1010 FPS depending on the pellet).
The other thing that I think I mastered/discover (I bet it has happened to you also, many other Huben owners had report the issue, even Gregor) is the bouncing of the needle in the reg pressure gauge I want to re-test the method this weekend so I can publish the right way to make the needle stay in the right position and not dropping down if you rapid fire the gun.
