Title: .45 qb conversion in the mix
Post by: pindog2000 on June 12, 2011, 05:40:03 PM
Had jack haley make me up some high powered qb bigbores 4 total,i have one more payment and then I get my  girls.i sold, traded or gave away most of my springers except my 2 dianas,tf89,wfh.25,gamo
890 as these are keepers. Now the reson for the cutbacks on springers is that I crossed over to the darkside.i love qbs ,just love em that why I have 5 ,but im thinking on  a bigger girl a qb.45.

Wow, a serious shift, sacrificing most of  your springers  for high powered qb's.  It must be the right thing to do though.
Maybe it was that you had way too many springers?

You will have some fine new guns soon.  Please let us know!

What kind of changes do you have to make to the valve in a QB to get 90FPE in .25?!

Just ... wow ...

Pinney,
You sure have a bunch of Killer Haley Air Guns Dude, Wow what a nice Broad array of Calibers. A .45 PCP would be a
Great addition to anyones Battery of Air Guns, Even if you have a .45 it is always nice to add another one to the mix.
Pinney, I actually shoot my LeRoy Tuned .45 Sam Yang 909 Single more than my .58 Caliber Haley Boomer. I love the
Big Bore .58 Caliber, Shooting a 286 Grain Lead Ball or a 433 Grain Bob V Hollow Point and all, However for me there is
that Diversity I have with my .45 Sam Yang and it is and has always been my Go to Rifle, And the Awesome Way she
Performs It just re-Confirms why she is my Go To Rifle. I am still saving for my Dan McVey .45 Ranger and I now have
the Funds set aside for my .50 Caliber Quackenbush Bandit That I am waiting on. I requested a Long Action .50 Bandit
I hope Dennis builds me what I asked for in writing per his own Request. However I Doubt it. I need to pick out some
options for the .45 Ranger. I see Dan H has had Just Outstanding Performance across the board with his.45 Ranger.
Sporting the 36" Super Accurate Barrel with a Multitude of great Success with Many different Projectiles , Dans .45
Ranger is Performing Flawless and is at a Performance Pinnacle with Big Bores.

                                                                              Jetman.

Jack mods his own valves and breeches for a extra fee'for more power. a standard qb. 25 gets around 65 to 75 fpe mines 90 to 100 fpe because of the mod I only modded the. 25 and the. 32 Cal qb rifle and left the 308 pistol with a 14in barrel stock power at 130 fpe.

Just a note except for the. 22 qbs the. 25,32,457 qbs all have 22inch barrels an not the standard 28 inch so the power is not the same but still can issue dirt naps.
