After posting back and forth a few times with Bob on the NOE forum concerning AF barrels and choke, I have slugged my barrel and with the help of Bob I have ordered and receive the equipment I need to size NAS slugs or any slug to match my barrel. The choke sized is 2485. I used a 39gr 250 slug and pushed it with a wood dowel rod through the barrel, the slug was tight form the start but I am sure it is because of more surface contact vs pellet but by the time I got to the choke man it really got tight but all in all went will. The NSA slug that I used did measure 250.
Next I plan on sizing a few slugs and do some test. I will fill the gun to the top of my power level of my shot curve and shoot 6 slugs that have not been sized. Then fill back to the power level and shoot 6 sized slugs and decide if the groups improve. This will be done at 50 yards for now. I know I need to go further in range and will but right now we have every thing put up on the 100 yard range for the winter. I will try to size a few slugs the next couple days and shoot on Friday.

Interesting. I did not realize the choke was so small. A smaller slug may do better in them. Staying tuned...

Yep I was actually surprised from what I seen Nick. I do have enough push through dies that if I go to far I can come back. I will do just a few slugs at a time and shoot for results. But I telling you it was all I could do to push through the choke. I was starting to get worried but got it done.
