Are the Maximus and Discovery trigger  the same?

Yes...Baker AG has the brass trigger that fits both  with set screw and small spring.

Baker brass triggers are a good modification.
I have Baker brass triggers on both my Discovery and Maximus.
Be sure to back the trigger stop screw off 1 full turn past where the gun starts to fire.
If the trigger stop screw is too tight the bolt release slows down the bolt causing slow and erratic velocities.
I asked Baker what was causing my erratic velocities after their trigger was added but the person that I talked to did not know about the problem.
