I was spreading the word in the appropriate gates for interest in a Vintage Pumper class in the established 10M Casual Match for the Target Shooters here.
Originally I was close minded and only thinking of "Vintage" so I did not post a link here for members who had Pumpers newer than 1984.... but JimQwerty123 took it one step further a created a WHOLE NEW MATCH Mid-Season for us. 8)
NOW IT'S HERE!
Jim set us up with our own Casual Match to while away the winter months.

Classes are:
• Vintage Pumper (VP) (as defined in the Vintage Gate – manufactured pre-1985)
• Modern Pumper (MP) (Manufactured after 1984)
• Vintage Everything Else (VEE) (as defined in the Vintage Gate – manufactured pre-1985)
So the Vintage Pumper, Modern Pumper, AND the Vintage CO2 / Springer guys can play as well.
It's a whole new game so no pressure, Only thing we need is your attendance! I think in this class I will be shooting a C9 Sheridan, a 392P Benji and my newest 2015 Benji 392...
Come and join the fun and that is what it is all about FUN!

So the wheels in my head are turning 100MPH...
What about the pumper PISTOL guys. You 13XX Carbine owners I consider a no brainer in the Modern Pumper (MP).... but is there interest in a Pumper Pistol class?

I like this, but I don't have any capacity for indoor shooting. Besides, while I like the pumper pistol event, my 1377 is graced with a 24" barrel.
I mentioned something early last year about a "pumper EBR" event. 50 yards (or 60), .177 only, with pumpers. 2 classes actually, a "Vintage" and a "Modern", same cut-off. I've shot some eye-popping groups with both my 1377 carbine and my re-barreled 760, and there's some folks here with crazy-accurate 880s. Only additional rules would be no "held air" guns like the FX Independence: IE: all air must be dumped each shot.
I suspect some of the LW CCS guns would do well, as well as as some folk's FrankenPumpers. Also still curious about SPA's pumper.
