This match officially opens on Monday, 01/22/2018. I'll be out of pocket on the 22nd and, maybe, the 23rd so I posting a day early. Jim
Come one, come all. Casual Match 6 is open for business. The Casual Match is a fun match. Shoot whatever you want at 10M (more or less depending on what you have available), use any position or rest that you prefer. See below for the details.
Rules are the same as for the 50’ Casual Match, except distance is 10M instead of 50’, using the 50’ target of choice. If you are like me and limited to distance, shoot at whatever distance you have available. Classes are PCP Rifle (includes any rifle except spring or nitro pistons), Piston Rifle, and Pistol. One entry may be made in each class.
Target due date is Sunday, February 4, 2018.
The 50’ rules and targets may be found at:

Welcome CORam. I don't believe that I have the dedication to be out shooting when it's snowing.
Great shooting, everyone.

Edit: Fixed the results. Marty, thanks for the catch. Jim

This is my first match so don't judge. My rifle is a cheap Walmart rifle that I'm not too fond of. I hope to get a PCP rifle soon. Hopefully I scored my target properly.

Thanks Hoosier Daddy. I tend to want to blame the gun but it is surprising how much cold fingers starts to affect my ability to shoot over time. I didn't realize how long the match would take...it ends up being a lot of shots. I think it is so cool that you guys hold matches, what a great way to improve your shooting, especially since it adds a little bit of pressure.

Participating in the pumper match gives me a better understanding how elusive a 200 score can be, & to do it with 12 X’s. Hat’s off to you Scott!

Thanks Marty, was a good day for that one.
And as proof of how tight the competition is here, my 199 score with 11X came in dead last on the PCP division! Even if I had gotten a 200 score by hitting a "10" on that single "9", I still would have been last because I only had 11 X's! :o
