Here is a good review done by Donnie Reed. Donnie does some of the most through pellet testing I have seen. In this case he is using 2 different rifles to show the difference in pellet expansion.

My at44  loves  the hunters.

When I  first shot  a  squirrel with  them i couldn't  believe  that the pellet  did not  exit thru the other  side, i thought for a second  that my rifle was not  putting out  good energy.  And the i felt the  pellet right  below the hide  of the  squirrel, took it  out, and it was  like a flower, poor squirrel, did not even twitch. 35 yds.

Even out to 105yds,, took 2 blackbirds,, bunch of  feathers on the air.

 A coyote also fell to thesee pellets.

Baracuda Match and Baracuda Hunter is all I feed my at44 with. No more loooking  for other options.

I will look  for a picture of the mushroomed pellet and update...

My fx royal 400 really likes these pellets. I got about 10 chippers today.
The impact is louder than the air rifle.(nasty) One cpipper had its
intestines out the side.  great pellet if your barrel likes them. :D

Is that the Smoothtwist barrel? Or the Smoothtwist X?

I have a pellet queen, an FX Wildcat in .22 that wants the JSB 18.13's only.  These are the second most accurate pellet out of that gun.  Not the Barracuda hunter with the Phillips head hollow point, but the one that looks more like a crow magnum.  Crazy accurate and when it hits, it hits HARD!.  Like kicking a wet mattress.

I tried the Hunters in the Nova .25
It don't like them at all.

I have only shot these h&n barracuda hunters out to 50 yards, 3/4 inch off my truck with sand bag.
Now the 18 grn jsb 3/4 inch at 75 yards. I will take the hunters out to 75 yards & see whats up. :D
