Title: First 2 mice of new year
Post by: cpt_sfc on January 17, 2018, 09:59:10 PM
No big deal but the weather has dampened the varmint shoot'n around here. To day though, got 2 mice at 15 yards in the bird feeder with a Daystate huntsman .25 cal . does not leave a lot to post a photo.  But it is a start for the new year.

Max, excellent shooting with your .25 Regal on those mice! I JUST drew first blood with my  new .22 Regal...an opossum that was raiding my papaya tree.

Great shooting max, is your bird feeder made of metal?

Good shooting.  Surely there was an ear, or a foot, or other body part to take a pic of? ;D

Go get'em Max, Mice are just as bad a their full size counterparts..... Vermin must be controlled and if you have to Vaporize them, then do so..... .25 cal = Vaporization.... Good Shooting... ;D

I have an old kids picnic table out back falling apart , put seed on it. Another bird feeder on a tall stump at 50 yards. Plus the feed in the barn/ rabbits/ chickens , the varmints will be out in a month or so. I had never had this happen before but when I shot one on the 15 yard, table an OWL (big) came swooping in picked the mouse up and away it went. Never had that happen , kinda gave me a start, looked like a 3-4 ft wing span.

Kill the mieces! Kill the mieces! Kill them dead!  Good shooting!

I'm getting squat at my feeding stations. I seem to be giving away peanut butter to the birds now. Maybe now that the sun is coming out, and the rain is gone for the foreseeable future, the rats and mieces will come back out and play. :)

Oh, I have two or three possums and at least three different skunks showing up on the cameras. I did see one tiny mouse, but it's here and there. Mostly there. Zero rats.
