Bushnell has a new line of "Engage" rifle scopes. They might be well suited to FT. I like their reticle design as it subtends 1 MOA at full magnification.

All are side focus. 24x might not be enough for WFTF but I'd use it on a WFTF piston gun if it was springer rated. I don't know if it is.
I'm satisfied with my UTG 12x and 16x scopes but looking out for something a little better.

Scott,
I tried the Engage 4-16x44 last week at Bass Pro Shops. I also called Bushnell to get some additional info. The scope appeared to have good clarity and range fairly crisp up to about 30 yards (I was limited to the store interior so I couldn't range any further than this. The reticle is excellent. The turrets felt kind of cheap (almost like they were made of plastic) but they clicked clearly and audibly, and they do lock. The PA and magnification knobs turned with the proper amount of firmness. A UTG sidewheel could easily be fit to one of these because of the small PA knob. The only negative that I see is that these scopes do not accept sunshades, and the front objective lens is very exposed. Also, Bushnell said these scopes are not rated for spring gun powerplants.
It does seem like it could be a good scope (as long as the ranging is confirmed to be good past 30 yards). I hope someone gives one of these a try and reports back...

I’ve spent a lot time searching the internet. Not much info on the bushnell engage. I’m trying to decide between the engage and the sightron s-tac. Glass quality is a top priority for me...

I have the 4-12x40 1" tube on my stainless matte dark gray receiver no Ruger parts 10/22. It is a clear scope and the ranging is accurate. Bought it from Midway for $150 shipped when they were having a sale.
This scope is made in South Korea. Also comes w/ Butler Creek caps emblazoned w/ B (for Bushnell_ logos. The finish is fantastic, btw. No marks nor dings and scratches, or variations in anodizing. It has semi matte satiny coating w/c is excellent. The box is large, offering more than sufficient protection for the optics :D
Here is a pic of it. My apologies if PBs are not allowed to be posted here. Mod(s) may remove it, of course:
