Very nice Jeremy!
Thanks just the first of the new products coming in 2018
-
Following this closely!
Will these barrels be choked?
Will they be the same length as a stock Texan?
Would be nice to have a shorter barrel at times.
-
keeping a eye on this post, see how it goes, might have to spend some money,AGAIN,lol but like what i am seeing so far. ;D

Sign me up for a .357 or 40 cal with slow twist. 1:26 for .357 and 1:32 for .40.
Gig with .40 cal in the states is some have minimum of that cal for hunting deer. .357 for me is ideal, just want Airforce with rigid barrel and slow twist.

-
Neat! ;D
-
Will you export those kits in Europe ? I may have finally found my next big bore :)
-
Will this all be offered with drop down menu's to pick and choose what a person wants? Like if they wanted a tune kit included but no muzzle break or vise versa or a no frills drop fit sleeved barrel to length/twist is all a person wants they pick and choose adding to cart?
Really great stuff so far but just saying, a one stop website to customize your own options from base barrel to all the bells with whistles would be awesome.

Yes we will

The end goal is to treat the Texan as a platform with a lot of options so yes
-
Looking forward to some groups with various ammo/offerings
-
Would it be possible to get custom calibers, like 6mm? Or potentially individual components such as a top hat, in case people want to do their own thing for the barrel/barrel bushings?

Great idea, the Texan as a platform.
Pretty sure I'm going to be a customer.

With the prevalence of .44 pistol calibers slinging cast bullets (.429") I've always been surprised no one produces an air rifle in this caliber to make use of the wide variety of ready to go molds and cast bullets already in about the right weight ranges.

Great point, I noticed this when I was looking for "off the shelf" projectiles for the .457 Texan.
Lots of .429 lead for cowboy guns.

Some more photo of the Texan caliber changed from 45 cal to 308 and a video showing how easy it is to load a long 180 grain bullet due to the nice leed reamed into the breach of the barrel also a video to show the effects of the Air Ripper Muzzle break on a Texan

I’m going to go ahead and ask what everyone else is thinking. Can we see some 100yd groups?

Great to see you still at it Jeremy. The best of luck in the coming year and best in prosperity. This is not an advertisement for those with concerns. No prices or such and Jeremy well knows there is no advertising allowed on GTA Forums except by approved and sanctioned vendors. He wouldn't violate that policy again. :)
Be we also need to support and nurture anyone wanting to develop new airgun products for US airgun nuts. Don't you agree?
Just don't make this an advertisement by adding prices or ordering information and we will be fine.
:)
Press onward, thanks and keep the products coming!!!

Jeremy, I've bought from you before,.. my heavy spring set to play around with added fps,.. I've seen alot of vids on youtube modding this gun, but imo, it seems your the only one completely reinventing this fine Air rifle, and and excellent job at that modding it..
Just saying, thank goodness for you my friend.. still trying to work out when to get the tank upgrade lol
Cheers!!!

Thank you Along with Lethal Air we have a long list of new products coming out for the Texan Platform in 2018 including the Air Beast Modular LDC System with built in RRT or Recoil Reduction Technology its a total break away from traditional LDC design but unlike the current line up of Shrouds and Sound suppression units it will be able to be used not just on the Texan Platform but Also on the Sam Yang Range of big bores . Talking of which we will also be bringing out a new valve for the Sam Yang Big Bore/Seneca to replace our original valve for our power-tune kit

Hi Jeremy,
Will you have similar offerings for the Texan SS?
Thanks!

Yes we will and will have the same calibers from .257 through 457
-
Excellent !
So does that mean, I'm assuming, say a limbsaver, or something more proprietary on your end, for barrel harmonics as well as carbon fiber sleeves for the .457 barrels? Or is that even worth the money or the mod to this rifle? I've tried to search carbon fiber sleeving, but it seems that it would have to be sent out... not sure about trusting in that.. but that would be awsome,... anything to make this rifle that much more accurate.
Also, I was thinking about purchasing your airbrake for my Texan.. but was wondering when I installed it, if it would work properly with my Magneto Speed Chrony, (which absolutely works fantastic, much more accurate than the traditional stand alone ones, and is great for range shooting), since it's strapped to the barrel.. guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there, but figured in your experience, if you knew if it would create any issues for me. Ty bud!
Cheers!!

[/quoteAll the barrels for the barrel change kit are going to be sleeved in a thick carbon fiber sleeve we have a damper system built into it that prevents the barrel from making direct contact with the frame . The Air Ripper should not mess with your chronograph the top and bottom of the muzzle break are flat

Ty Jeremy, and much appreciated bud.

I would go for a .257 first AND then 7 or 8 months later a .429 but I want 28 inch barrels with threaded ends.
I have a couple of user suggestions on the muzzle brake if you are open to suggestions for the next batch for a MkII:
1 - the one you sent me measures .580 bore, so it has a big blow-by on .457 and thus a lot of gas does not get diverted sideways in the first chamber, which is the one with the greatest effect. Really needs tighter tolerance and it will be much more efficient. I machined an 'orifice' and threaded n epoxied it into the first diaphragm wall (between 1st chamber n 2nd chamber) inside the brake then bored it out to .490 and it helps.
2 - PLEASE eliminate the holes on the bottom, because if you shoot prone, the blast REALLY kicks up dirt... I shot on sandy soil and got covered! That night I filled those holes with epoxy (and had to clean every crack and crevice on my Texan).

Noted and there are changes already been made as with the 308 cal Air Ripper we made the Muzzle break more caliber specific and will look at removing the porting under the break as well
-
I'm interested in changing my .308 to .257. Are the kits available for this?
-
The caliber change kits in most calibers including .257 will be available in the next 3 months
