PP700s-a (Mrod Air Mk II) AR Stock Adapter
The moment you have been waiting for; turn your pp700s-a from a pistol into a handy carbine in less than five minutes. The stock adapter does not permanently modify your gun and you can revert quickly and painlessly. The adapter does not interfere with the action and you retain the same controls over operating the action.
How does it work?
The adapter is a 3-piece kit (comes with mounting hardware and matching hex wrench) comprised of a grip plug, arm and pivoting buffer tube mount made from 6061-t6 aluminum billet. The grip plug replaces the plastic insert that came with your pp700s-a and uses the same hardware to mount the new plug, locking it securely into the frame. The arm that holds the buffer tube mount is secured to the plug by two screws that also enables you to go from a pistol to carbine and back, quickly to best suite your needs for the situation. With the adapter and stock mounted, you can set the sight alignment by loosening the outside screw and move the stock up or down until you find the position that suites you and then by tightening the screw again to hold it in place. This kit will work with the PP700 W if it has the SA grip.
What do I need to use the kit that is not included?
You will need a buffer tube, a castle nut and any AR stock of your choice to use on your adapter. You will also need a 4mm hex wrench to remove the plastic plug and install the new one. I recommend getting if a castle nut spanner for locking the buffer tube down. When selecting a buffer tube and stock, make sure they match (they need to be either both mil-spec or commercial. They are not interchangeable).
