I'm sure lots of you got this email. I'm on my second Stoeger X20. It seems to me to be the best value in an entry level springer. The composite stock is good quality, with the best checkering. It's accurate after a barrel cleaning and a couple hunnerd rounds to break it in. I'm not sure about the scope, but plan on it being a throw-away. My first one honked when cocking, I don't think the spring was quite straight, but it didn't affect accuracy.
This one has a moderator built-in, which mine hasn't got. Plan on spending another $50 on a proper scope and $20 or so more on a proper 1 piece mount, and you're good to go.

I picked up one of these also. It was on sale for $99 and I used the 10% coupon with it. Have not tore it down or really been able to shoot it yet for accuracy. Cleaned the barrel (it was not very dirty), cleaned the exterior and applied some G96 synthetic oil, and put a couple pellets through it. No 22 rifle crack so that's good. Seems smooth to cycle. Trigger is heavy and will get worked on.
Decent deal. Looks reasonably assembled from the outside. The barrel shroud is actually good because no worries of hand sweat causing corrosion issues. Time will tell.
