Got another one last night about 9 pm, no ding donger, just decided to check and there it was, peeking it's head out of the bricks of the wall, waited a few minutes for it to get comfortable with the environment and then it climbed down to the Pile of PB on the feeder, set my crosshairs quickly and Wha La, another successful Lobotomy by JBS .20 cal 13.73 grn and Beeman/ Weihrauch HW100 T FSB.

I may have to make a dump run since the trash can is starting to stink of rotten rats and trash day is Wednesday........ :o :o :P
I left a few in the neighbors yard to see if anything will eat them and to get rid of some fleas infested vermin, nothing wants to eat dead rat........ not even the Possums.. :o

Nice shot on a fatty Kevin!

Good Shooting Kevin ! You'll have to ask BenjiHunter what he does with all of his dead rats. I am surprised nothing would eat them. There must be Gourmet Food Sources around for all the wildlife in your area. Where I live, even dead Porcupines and Skunks get eaten after dark. Especially so. during the winter months. You may have to, maybe get a diaper container to store them and then get rid of them on garbage day. Don't stop shooting the Rats !! Best Wishes & Happy Rat Hunting - Tom

My neighbors yard has a huge patch of English Ivy. That’s where I chuck my kills most of the time. Last rat I got I left on the steps going up The Hill, and next morning it was gone. Skunk, Possum or maybe Owl got it. Owls are back around. Maybe that’s why the rats are scarce.
Good shooting!

I haven't seen the Hawks that normally hang out on the power lines lately, they might be down in the valley behind us, I thought maybe the cat would grab up the carcasses but I think it ate the dead mice I left on the wall, oh well, their wrapped up in a plastic bag in the trash can, can't smell them unless I open the top, I can live with that...... I'll just put on a gas mask the next time I need to throw something in the trash...... :o ;D
