My trigger isnt to bad as far as pull weight but the second stage travel is forever long. Ive read up a ton about this on here and it sounds like a bit longer screw behind the trigger would adjust out some of this travel. I took the screw out and did not find anything remotely close to maching it at all the local hardware stores. Im not against drilling and tapping for a larger diameter and longer grub screw. Would seam easier to just find the exact size “diameter” screw, but just longer. I dont have a clue to what size this screw is. Does anyone know the size diameter/thread so i can find one online somewhere. I know i know get a CDT trigger and forget about it. Im not wanting to drop $35-40 bucks at this time. Besides my trigger is breaking at a smudge over 3 lbs. If a longer screw doesn’t get some of the creep out then the CDT trigger will have to happen.

Since the gun is a Gamo you can expect the screw to be metric. As a rough guess it is probably either 2.5mm or a 3mm screw.
You may be lucky enough to find something this small at either Lowe's or Ace Hardware. I have found Home Depot pretty useless for metric screws.

I was guessing it was metric. Its a tiny fine threaded little booger. And yes my local Home Depot and Lowes was a bust. I have a Manards close by, I might check them if i don't get a for sure answer here. I wonder if my local RC hobby shop would have something.

The local hobby shop may be an option - it never occurred to me as I don't frequent them but much of the hardware is metric. We have a local fastener store (Tacoma Screw) which carries (or can order) nearly any screw, clip, or whatever I can visualize. I haven't stumped them yet. And they will sell single units for far less than the local big box stores. In fact that's where the local stores get their supply.
I lied. I did stump them ONCE. I wanted a 3mm X 16mm set screw and 10mm was the longest they had. McMaster Carr was a source but they have minimums.

I measured the factory second stage trigger screw with my dial calipers and came up with .094 in diameter. This size seams to be pretty close to 2.5mm Went to my small local hobby shop that specializes in remote control everything and they had a smorgasbord of small metric screws with various head types. I scored some 2.5mm X 10mm socket head screws. These measured at .097 diameter. Only 3 thousandths over. No trouble at all screwing in.
All I can say is what a difference in trigger feel with all the creep adjusted out. All I can say is "dang with the lawyer trigger". My pull weight is a tad over 3.5 lbs on my wheeler beam scale. Not sure how accurate it is, but the trigger feels really good. I don't think I will be needing a CDT trigger now.

The M2.5x10 is available from home depot online. UPC 0-3069908108-0
Possible part #08108.
When you screw in the x10. Don't quite bottom it. leave two full turns. See if it sets the sear when cocking. If it does you can adjust from there. If not, back it out until the sear catches and holds when the stock is bumped.
