need to have something clarified here, when measuring the line of sight or scope height info on chairgun. i normally enter the dimension between the center of the bore and scope, some say this is not correct. and as for scope height, some say that the closer the scope is mounted to the gun the more accurate it is, i see some videos where guys are shooing fantastic groups and the scope look to have 3/8"or more clearance between the AO and the barrel. any thoughts on this.

Scope height is the dimension between the center of the bore and scope. You're right about that.
As for accuracy, I don't know. But why would different scope heights give different accuracy? ::)
The only thing I can think of is, if the scope is up high, the rifle is not as balanced as it would be with the scope low.
