Ordered from Amazon Wednesday,it arrived Friday along with a spare magazine. I put it under a Centerpoint 3x9x32 mil dot scope, and started out with 14.66 H&N FTT pellets. No need to experiment with other pellets as the H&Ns run perfectly. At 20 meters a 3/4 in spinner is no problem. A target roughly 1/2 as tall as a pop can was hit ten for ten at 50 meters. Not bad for literally out-of-the-box performance. I expect it to improve when I actually get around to critically leveling the scope to the gun (eyeballed it for starters),and then going thru the head-bob ritual until things are properly sorted out.
It's a great unit to pick up and shoulder...and the stock is nice and solid, with no air of cheapness about it. The 10X loading system may look clumsy, but it functions so smoothly that I no longer care about it's looks.
I think it's my 27th piston powered gun in my little collection, and it joins a GAMO Stutzen,an ACCU 22,and a Big Cat...all treasured keepers. For the money, this is an astounding buy,in my opinion.

Great report, love to hear instant success stories

I got one in .177 when they first came out. Later I had a GRT trigger installed and had the gas ram replaced with a springer. Just me, don't care for gas ram. Good shooter. But now the repeater part isn't working properly. Sometimes the pellets fall out the front of the magazine or it looks like the probe that pushes the pellet into the chamber then pulls it out a little an it falls out or gets smashed. I took it apart but it looks ok. Of course it's no longer under warranty. But I'm going to see if Gamo would sale me the repeater part or fix it for a fee.
I'm wondering if it's the magazines. Seems the Sentry PCP had a rash of bad magazines when it first came out.
I only paid $20 more for it than the single shot version. If nothing else I got a good shooting single shot Gamo.
But I also got a Hatsan Proxima on back order from PA. We'll see how an under lever repeater works.

Thanks, and since I posted I have found that 14.3 JSB Exact Jumbos load much easier than the H&N pellets, and index
easier. Bryan

Have you tried many other pellets to find a good fit? I understand that GAMO will sell replacement mechanisms to those of us who may need one. Anyway, looking forward to what you have to say about your Proxima,as that will be my next gun. Bryan

Yes, I tried alot of different pellets. Didn't help. Worked fine for several hundred pellets. I need to call Gamo.
