Been thinking of the walthers LGV, but after reading the triggers cannot be adjusted as easily or as light as the HW Rekord triggers, maybe someone can tell me if the LGU has the same trigger as the LGV or is it a better trigger, i am reading around the web that the LGU may be a bit more accurate rifle than the TX 200 or the HW97K

ps i was considering the LGV but it looks like more will have to spent on a aftermarket trigger to make it similiar to the Rekord

Hi, Chet,
I shot two LGUs - one had the metal tuning trigger blade with the sears polished and the other had the OEM plastic trigger but with a longer adjustment screw, IIRC. The metal blade with polished sears felt smooth and precise. The plastic-bladed gun felt a bit mushier, but was still light, predictable, and totally shootable. If you are not already a trigger snob, you might like the OEM trigger just fine :)
I know that doesn't answer your exact question, but I hope it is helpful.
Have fun!

From my reading (no experience here) it appears the LGU and the LGV have the same trigger. I believe the tuning trigger is available from Krale.
As far as whether the LGU is better than the TX 200 or the HW 97, I cannot say.

I have both an LGU and an LGV. Triggers are the same and can be made to function as well as one could hope for. I also have an HW97 and in my case the HW97 comes in last in almost any comparison with the LGU or LGV. The Rekord trigger is excellent but accuracy and smoothness is better with both of my Walthers. YMMV

Rowan Engineering has a custom trigger for the LGU and the LGV. They list it as being the same for either rifle. I have ordered this trigger for the my LGV. If anyone is interested, I can post about the installation and testing.
I installed a longer screw in the stock trigger and it improved the trigger very much, but it had too long of a 1st stage for me, so I went looking for some thing better.

The U.S. versions of the Walther air guns come with the single adjustment screw trigger blade, U.K. versions from watching utube videos indicate they come with the 2 screw tuning trigger, I have 2 LGU's that I have put the 2 screw tuning triggers in both rifles, I like the adjustability of them, I have also polished the sears and changed out the pressure adjustment spring with a softer spring, I set my triggers up with a long first stage travel and a very light second stage break, and I like the feel of the tuning trigger blade its thinner then the OEM trigger, the tuning trigger allows me to adjust the travel of the blade more then the HW triggers, I find the Walther triggers very comparable to the HW triggers and just as good IMO, My LGV Master Pro that I have has the OEM single screw adjustment trigger in it that I have polished all the sears and made the same spring change in the pressure adjustment screw and have added the 25mm long trigger travel screw and this trigger is as good as far as the trigger break as the tuning trigger, the first stage pull length is long but I like that anyway in all my triggers that are 2 stage adjustable, long story short the U.S. version Walther LGU/LGV triggers can be made very nice so don't give them a 2nd thought they are good, my brothers LGU trigger is untampered with other then a slight adjustments in its factory state and he loves it and he won't let me make any changes to it at all ;D :P
