well just when i thought something was so simple that i couldnt screw it up, i screwed it up. i was experiencing a little trouble with my brocock mag when inserting and rotating in the breech. hadnt messed with it for a few days so i took it outside and started shooting. went to reload the mag and when i was removing it from the breech i saw something fly and bounce on the deck. found the little tiny piece that threads into the mag face that had went flying. realised i was missing something else so i searched under the deck and found a little tiny ball bearing a little larger than the safety ball crosman uses. put the ball and the threaded piece back into the mag but now the ball doesnt have pressure behind it and doesnt cycle properly so i can only assume that it had a spring that filled that role. does anyone know what size the spring is? or where i could buy one? my only complaints with the brocock are the low count mags and the super narrow breech opening. otherwise it is a very accurate and lightweight rifle that i really enjoy. made myself a single shot tray but it’s awkward to use and not ideal for hunting. as always any help is greatly appreciated.

Try a cut down crosman safety spring? Disposable lighters are good for small springs also.
