Title: .177 forward left side lever pcp rifle
Post by: solder on October 07, 2017, 07:52:05 PM
Does anyone make a forward left side lever .177 pcp in a rifle or carbine? Quiet and accurate a must.

Thanks Dillon. I've had extensive right shoulder surgery and I'm trying to limit my right arm usage.

You can get a LH breech for your R-10.  Not sure if you need a new bolt probe but I think not.  It would be easy to swap onto your gun if you've ever had it apart before.  If not there are lots of teardown vids on the tube.  ;)

Closest would be the Colibri, iirc it's a left cocking semiautomatic bullpup. If you could use a bullpup and if you can find one.
Most guns can be made to shoot quieter and accurately, and some guns you can switch the bolt to the left,  but I don't know of any with a forward bolt/side lever that's also on the left other than the Colibri.

I have the gun for you my man.

Vulcan Tactic :

Not a bullpup but a mini-carbine,
Owners reviews are outstanding,
has left or right cocking,
accurate, quiet, with great shot count

Good call Manny, and I think all the new Vulcans come with a sidelever now.  If not they have a kit to convert it to a very nice sidelever.

Correct, thanks for mentioning it in the haste of posting I forgot to ad that ( Talon Tunes is one vendor I know sells the sidelever kits )

I had one and they are good shooters and backyard friendly the only negatives I can think of is it’s clunky bolt cycle but with the new side lever I imagine it’s a great gun now. Not easy to tune or mod either but generally shoots well out of the box.

The RAW HM1000 in .177 looks incredible. Great groups and function. Hard to get it off the "must have" list, despite the high price.

I agree! I almost bought one in .20 awhile back as I always wanted a .20 but decided to get a barrel for my Mrod instead. They are very nice guns though and wouldn't mind owning one down the road again
