I have been using a Optisam Mamba Lite for some time with no problems. It was removed and remounted using different rings after my rifle returned from a repair job. When using it at 20 yards it is ok but when reaching out to 45 it is shooting 1/4 to the right. The adjustment is maxed out at this point.
What can I do to re center the scope to give me adjustments again?
Thanks,
Mitch

To center the reticle I crank the adjustment all the way right or left or up or down. Then count half turns all the way the other way. Then come back half that many half turns. Should be centered or close enough.

try reversing the rings, turn them from left to right or visa-versa, it might get you what you need.

Loosen the barrel band and try to move the barrel to the left. It could be that it was twisted a small amount when it was reassembled. A few thousands of an inch at the muzzle can be several inches at range. This will also be the easiest fix to try.

Good idea, if the barrel is not floating between the band, it could push the barrel out of alignment with the scope....... I had that problem before but fixed it as soon as I noticed it...... Glad someones brain is working.......

I will check when I get home. I have the o ring installed in the barrel , perhaps it got moved.
Thanks

Thank you Ken and Kevin,
That is exactly what was wrong.
First off I swapped the rings back and forth to no avail. Next I installed the original rings, no progress.
Now I decided to listen to you and removed the schroud and lo and behold, the barrel band was installed at an angle.
Bing bopada boom, 10 shots later all sighted in.
Thank you again😊
Ain’t this a great place place to be?

Ken Gets all the credit for that one, His brain was working, mine still had the choke on and wasn't warmed up yet......

First hand experience. I can remove and replace my scope all day with no change in POI. The first time I removed and replaced my barrel, the POI changed. That was the only obvious change. So I loosened and properly re-centered my barrel. It went back to the old POI. I didn't need to re-sight my scope.
