Title: I never imagined I'd come across one of these
Post by: DanD on September 25, 2017, 10:11:26 PM
And find it locally!  A friend of mine at work uses the Letgo app for local classifieds and showed me the ad for this today. No way I could pass it up. I did not dally in installing the app, and contacting the seller who lives about 5 minutes from where I work. It does seem to have had the power reduced- fairly easy to cock and shooting 15 ft lbs,  but hey, it's a late model,  .22 Beeman RX2! Looking forward to cleaning the barrel,  loctiting the screws,  and installing a better scope. Maybe I'll see of one of my PCP friends can help pump it back up a little.
What is that stepped button in front of the trigger guard for?
Thanks for reading.

Cleaned the barrel, adjusted the trigger, mounted a BSA 2-7, tightened the screws, and tested some pellets. What a sweet shooting rifle!  It likes CPUM and Super Hpoints so far. Surprisingly, it didn't do as hot with FTT and JSB varieties. I'm glad it likes CPUM, though- locally available and affordable at Tractor Supply.

Beautiful!  Congratulations!  I have the Weihrauch version (HW90) and it is a wonderful rifle!  I picked up a Rock Shox pump and the various fittings necessary to be able to adjust the gas spring pressure.  I have mine putting out just under 21 fpe and it is happy and accurate there.

Enjoy your new Beeman in good health!
