My rifle is over a year old and I guess the warranty is gone so it is time for me the tear it up or make it better.
How can you get this moderator apart and maybe check the crown on the barrel and fix if needed?
If you have any video links that would be helpful.

Maybe the front cap of the moderator threaded?

Being a QE, the end cap should just unscrew and inside are 3 or 4 cylinders wrapped in sound deadening material. Don't think I've ever seen a video showing a total removal but try searching it on youtube and see what pops up if you haven't already.

I recall seeing a video, maybe on youtube, involving this disassembly.
The plastic end bit screws off, a few plastic bits used to deaden the sound fall right out, then you need a socket on an extension to undo a nut that holds the whole metal part of the moderator on the underlying barrel. Can't remember the size of the socket needed to unscrew the nut. Don't have a link but it's out there somewhere if you search for it.

Thanks, I will do some more searching.

Hatsan usa said to screw the front off the moderator to get the moderator apart. I asked if they had front pieces of the moderator just in case I broke it and they do.
Hatsan said that the shroud was glued in place and it was not recommended for it to be removed.
Thanks for the help.
