Title: Paintball tank valves
Post by: blackdiesel on August 05, 2017, 02:48:13 PM
Are there any valves with the m18x1.5 threads for paintball tanks other than the usual valves with the restrictive regulators?   I found some from China but they are charging $40 and up for shipping.

Who makes the tank you're looking to put a valve in? Reason I ask, typical US made PB tanks are 5/8-18UNF, not M18x1.5.

The only M18x1.5 threaded valves I've seen are the Acecare... Ebay or Aliexpress.

If a US made tank, the Jubilee valve, is the only non regulated PB tank valve I know of. They are not exactly cheap, but, are really good quality.

Yeah, funny you should bring this up- I just bought a Ninja reg, that's a 4500 psi reg, with 3k psi output, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have M18-1.5 threads, like the CF airgun tanks do...

I have found an aluminium tank that's 450cc's that takes 5/8-18 UNF...  which is both smaller, and not CF.  It's also from aliexpress.  I really should have checked the reg's threads before I bought it...

I have the Ninja PCP fill station, 90ci CF tank using ninja's 4500psi reg, with 3k output(actually 2900psi). The tank and Reg are 5/8-18UNF...

Have three other PB tanks, 68ci Crossfire CF, 68ci gorilla air CF and a 48ci Myth 3k aluminum tank... all have 5/8-18UNF reg threads.

What reg threads the tank has depends on who made it...

It's a Java brand 68ci that I got locally from Craigslist.

It's the 6151 model on this page

Airhog sells a Jubilee paintball tank valve as well:
https://www.airhog.com/valves/137-jubilee-pb-with-ah-gauge.html (https://www.airhog.com/valves/137-jubilee-pb-with-ah-gauge.html)

There is another Jubilee valve listed as well...may be the metric version
https://www.airhog.com/valves/138-jubilee-with-ah-gauge.html (https://www.airhog.com/valves/138-jubilee-with-ah-gauge.html)

Let me know what you decide...am looking to purchase one in the near future...

I'm looking for something cheap to convert an out of date paintball tank to supply air to PCP.  I have plenty of firemen tanks but got a deal on a paintball tank off Craigslist.
