1st, an apology. I know, I've not been on any forums lately (and GTA is where I hang out the most). So if you don't see me here, you won't see me anywhere. I've just been so busy lately, that I really am buried. I actually (seriously) need to hire someone just to read the forums and post stuff for me. LOL, if you'd have told me that such a job existed 20 years ago, I'd have volunteered to do it myself for FREE!!!
So, for my first post, I want something that contributes to the forum. Thought I'd show our latest video on hydrotesting.
I'll be uploading a video shortly on mounting a scope as well.
Our latest Airgun Scientist video topic is: "Hydrotesting, What it is, how to, cost of, and epic tank failure".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlFWTcgjhl8&feature=youtu.be (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlFWTcgjhl8&feature=youtu.be)
This is one of a series of videos that we post on THE AIRGUN SCIENTIST that show topics such as
How to determine what kind of tank one needs, review on scopes, compressors, airguns, etc..
Please be sure to follow "THE AIRGUN SCIENTIST" and get the latest reviews.
Thank you.

where could one get a homemade PCP reservoir tested?

While I do not have a tank that is near need for the hydro test, your post prompted me to follow-up to find a local shop that does the test. Found one only 15 miles away and charges only $18. He indicated that for small tanks like I have (Guppy and 90ci) the water displacement measurement is more critical, which makes sense. He also wanted to make sure I removed the valve, which won't be an issue for me. ie sounds like he had received some paintball tanks with locktited in regulators. Thanks for the reminder.
PS: Also thanks to Tom's Hydrotest Locator sticky above
