Check that gauge first. Make sure it's good and snug.

Is it the .177 or .22? I know that my .177 leaked at the gauge, a push and a 1/8-1/4 twist sealed mine back up...

Personally I wouldn't ship it out either, I'd just fix it myself. The thing about sending them in for warranty work is the fact you gotta probably pay the shipping there, then all the time in between shipping and getting it back to boot, I hate being without myself.
-
I always fix the simple stuff myself... especially if it happened after a bit of normal usage. But, if it just flat out breaks or is damaged in shipping... most likely I will return it. My Chinese hand pumped leaked and I contacted the seller.. in the end they refunded me 10% and I fixed it myself. Just an o-ring that was included in the spares.

When I took mine apart I found one of the orings with transfer port was cut. I was losing FPS and oil was weaping on the side that had the word "Varmint" painted on breech.
I did find other problems with mine like things that I could not fix so I sent it back to MRODAIR to have him look at what he could do with it. Now waiting is the hard part.

Yeah Matt I think that one that you got was a lemon and time will tell. Mike might just send you another one. In the thread you have about it, it almost seemed like the breech might have been bad ???

Oh man... that's the worse stuff... I sent an NP Trail pistol back to AGD once... I followed tracking to them.... then it was like time stopped. I finally contacted them, paid a 15% restocking fee and put the balance towards a different gun. That's when I made up my mind to make repairs myself whenever I can. I did not get into this hobby to add frustration to my life.... and I'll be dam....

The one that's leaking is a22 cal .l will check the gage first but I kind'a want to improve the trigger, it's not bad but I'm sure it can be improved and I have two others to do trigger work on and since it's degassed I might as well see if the trigger is even lubed at all

My last 15 years working was in a small electronic's business (loved the money) and my boss actually stole me from another shop but I told him right off the bat no phones for me and he agreed :D
We were friends to begin with so everything was cool!

I think nervoustrigger ( Jason) did a thread on the triggers... look in the MRodAir threads for a link.

Your boss should have COUNTER OFFERED by saying ok no phone but here is a beeper if we need to contact you 24x7. That was my option in field service. ;D

Maybe long in the tooth but I've only been in this game about 4 years.

Well it's not leaking from the gage or the fill cap. Air coming out the barrel,so looks like a complete tear down and reseal

That's what I did to mine. I figured while I was in there I might as well do all of them to prevent future problems.
But the problems I found with mine went beyond seals as I stated earlier.

PCP's are all made to rely on cheap easy to replace 0-rings/seals that are not going to last forever. They ALL WILL LEAK sooner or later ("later" if you're lucky...but it's mostly luck).
Would be nice if every gas-gun was simple and easy to take apart, wouldn't need special tools, and used O-rings of a standard size.
In your case, it's almost like that. Not going to get apart with your fingers, but not likely to have to order special tools or to have to hunt up some odd-arsed sized replacement 0-ting.
