I received my new pump today and,,,,,wow! This thing is awesome.I know a lot of people are skeptical of this pump due to its unproven durability ,price and so on but...wow it fills fast.Ive had a shoebox for some time and there is no comparison !!My 500 cc tank for my air force took roughly 30 mins to fill from empty, this thing done it in less then 3 mins.!!!!!Anyways my question is to the people who own or know about this unit as to what temp they are getting when running.Mine would get pretty hot fast.Id get up to 52 c and then would turn the unit off!Reason is cause I don't know what the normal temp is.Wasnt trying to burn the unit up.Granted it is 96 degrees here so that doesn't help.Any insight would be great.

Look at the 32 page thread directly below this thread... tons of yong heng info ;)
Do get a high side filter, these things will put water into your tank without one. The included oil, water separator is worthless IMHO....
Big thread on the filters as well, look for Chinese filter hack thread.

I've heard 60*C is okay. Mine rarely gets above 50 but I do have the tuxing and don't use it when the ambient temp is that high. I'm currently in the process of testing a water cooler that may help with temps. I just need more time to finish testing.

If I've said it once, I'll say it again, just drop a half gallon of ice into the bucket to cool the water. Half gallon of ice lasted my compressor 23 mins...+

I got one not too long ago also. I run mine for 5 minutes or so then turn it off and let the water pump stay on. 5 minutes on 5 minutes off (water always on) Seems to work good for me. Heck of a lot better than using the hand pump. Also I only fill my bottle to 4000 ish PSI. With this and the fact I only need 3000 PSI why push it.

My manual says 65C max temp.

Thank you guys.wasnt sure.Think on my next fill im going to drop a bit of ice in the water il the temps here cool off.

Where can you buy one? I looked on Ebay, Amazon and general internet search but nothing.
Many thanks!

This is the one I'm considering at the present time.

I was looking at the one yesterday Bill. Seems like a good deal.

It's SCARY cheap.....price wise.
The price is right that's for sure.
Hope it's not a throw away if it breaks.

Selling a few guns to fund it... if stuff goes right I will let you know... lol
Last checked this vendor sold 10 and has 10 to go. No negative responses and a few great reviews.... if you want to believe what you read...

Good idea with selling some guns to afford one.
I see it comes with a rebuild kit which is nice.
Sure is tempting....good luck Bill!

I can tell you this...the unit seems well built.I cant say how long they will last cause its fairly new to me but my overall impression is good. This is something I don't say much either,Im a industrial mech. And watch machines fail day in and day out.The only flaw I've thought of about the piece is not the design but the metal that may have been used.China is not known for having top notch steel. However they majority of the unit is aluminum. If you take the crank case off..all parts are getting well lubricated from the oil .rebuild seals seem to be of pretty good quality and most of all..it out performs my shoebox 10 fold.I don't even hook my Ben discovery up to it cause I cant stop it dead on 2000 psi...it can go from a 1000 to 2000 in 25 sec or so.Its fast

Given your background an what you just said about the unit one can not come away impressed.
1k to 2k in 25 sec is very impressive!

I have a 220v Tuxing model running off of a converter but for the price linked above I am going to order one of the 110v Yong Heng's as soon as I return home-that price is too good to pass up just for a backup if nothing else. The Tuxing I am using will pressurize the Diablo filter and fill a pp700 from empty in just over 2 minutes and a little over 3 minutes for the larger M10. Temp reaches mid 50's in that time with no ice (running in air conditioned room). When I have used mostly ice maker small cubes with water poured over that it does stay noticeably cooler for longer.

I run mine up to 55 deg. then turn the pump off and let the water pump run the temp down. This is still way faster and a heck of a lot less work than a hand pump.
