Got it today from PA. Very well lubed and, from what I could see with a magnifying glass, the spring was too. Stuck a q-tip onto the spring and then smeared it (the q-tip) on a mirror and there was oil on the spring for sure....maybe just pickling oil so it wouldn't rust but oiled nonetheless.
The off-hand balance on this thing suits me fine. The T-06 trigger is just about perfect. No scope mounted yet so I used the iron sights to shoot 25 pellets through it. It's still loud but I did noticed a decrease in noise as I went along. The recoil was just that...no bouncy twangy stuff but still more than I expected. That should reduce somewhat after a few 100 shots.
I don't like the automatic safety but I'll get used to it I reckon.
Anyway my dog wanted to come back to the mansion so that's why it was a 25 shot test....
plus I gotta' clean the oil off the mirror.

You got yourself a nice gun. I'm sure it will perform very nicely for you. Just take your time breaking it in and then find the pellets it likes best and you should be very pleased.
