Now that my discovery isn't leaking anymore, I've found that the stock is a bit small for my 6"5" frame. I see some pretty awesome ones posted in the past, but the places that used to sell them don't have them anymore that I can find.
Are there any options currently available for a swap without a lot of modification? I see that the maximus stock will fit, but not sure if it will be what I"m looking for in size and shape. Thanks.

129.00 for a nice Boyd's stock and you can even get custom length of pull for a few extra dollars. They have several styles. I just love my thumb hole laminate camo.

Hi Simon,
I'll see if I can get a LOP measurement for you of the disco vs maximus stocks but I think they are pretty close,
The other options that come to mind are the Boyds stocks, and also its possible to get one of the old Tyrex gen1 marauder stocks adapted for the discovery,
as long as the disco or maximus has a marauder trigger installed. here is mine:

Similar to this, R Arms Innovations (the ones who make the Gen1 tyrex chassis) also make an adapter to fit the disco that let you attach the AR style stock. In that case, I'm not sure what guys do for a forearm.

Simon-I'm just a little feller but I found the Disco's LOP too short for me as well. This was an inexpensive (read cheap) solution for me. Size small fits like it was made for it and gives you about another inch in length. https://smile.amazon.com/Allen-Recoil-Eraser-Reducing-Pad/dp/B003C6VTZY/ref=sr_1_2?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1498182857&sr=1-2&keywords=rifle%2Bbutt%2Bpad&th=1&psc=1
Actually looks good in place IMO.
Those Boyd's stocks sure do look great though! I'm hoping to hear they need a lot of work to fit correctly and are not a drop in item. ??? ::) ;)

Ed,
The Boyd's stock is inlet for the discovery. But in my case there was a bit of a gap under the air tube. Like a floating barrel. So I had to bed it. Not a big deal and the stock really balanced the rifle out nicely. Yes it's a bit heavy but it shoulders well and I can group well with it off hand. So far all the tree rats I have taken with my discovery in the Boyd's stock have been off hand.

Boyd's standard stock configuration is on the short side for lop, for me. Definitely look into their options of increasing it, if you go that way. I'm 6" shorter than you. ;)

Looks like Boyd's is the simplest way to go, and they look nice too. Now to figure out what LOP I need. Thanks for the help!

They have a video on the site that tells you how to figure out the length of pull.
