This morning I finally got around to sighting in my Hatsan 30 cal Carnivore that I bought back in April.
I mounted an SWFA 6X scope on it, loaded up some JSB Diabolo 50 grain pellets and zeroed it at 25 yards. I then shot a five shot group that was pretty decent but not brag worthy. I moved out to 50 yards, zeroed and shot another five shot group that was dime sized. I figure groups will improve as I get more used to shooting air rifles. I wanted to try for the full 120 yards I have here but I needed to beat the rain that kept threatening to dump on me.
The groundhogs and other vermin in my yard have been served due notice! ;D
This was my first time ever shooting a PCP and I am thoroughly hooked. I should have pursued this hobby long ago.
Just when I thought this day couldn't get any better Fed Ex delivered my .25 cal Synrod. All this before lunch time, life is good today.

Thanks friend. Can't wait to see what this thing will do to that groundhog!

Lol finally pulled the trigger and you keep pulling it! 2 great PCPs that you'll have lots of fun with. I've owned both and I'm sure you'll get lots of great uses out of them. Now go get them critters! ;D

Both my BT65 30 cals like the 44 gr a lot more than the 50 gr pellets. Even my 30 cal Hercules shoot the 44 gr better and they are over 1000 fps. But they remain stable at very long range even at this velocity.

Congrats on both the nice new rifles Jeff !!! They're both definitely Ghog worthy too!

Thanks. I'm excited about trying out the Synrod. I'll have to do a side by side comparison between the two.

I have some 44 gr JSB's as well but didn't have time to try them yesterday. Next time I'll grab those instead. Thanks for the info.
