Would there be any benefit for leaving my Crosman Vantage Nitro Piston Airgun cocked for a couple hours at a time to help it break in and seat everything?
I understand it won't hurt a gas piston rifle to leave it cocked.
It makes sense to me that it would help the break in.
I've had the gun a week and I've shot approx 700 rounds. I don't think its broke in good yet sometimes it will shoot a certain pellet in a 1" group at 20 yards with iron sights and then sometimes its all over the place. Maybe I'm not holding my mouth right or Im not putting my cheek on the stock the same way each shot.Well anyway do y'all think leaving it cocked will help breaking it in ?

I doubt cocking it will do anything to help the accuracy.
How many different types of pellets have you sent down the barrel? It took me 15 different types to find one my old B-3 underlever could shoot. Maybe you still haven't found The One yet.

I bought and shot 10 different pellets. I know what you're saying. The search is on for that special pellet.
