Title: Help with Hatsan AT44 .177 decision please....
Post by: airkrazy on June 15, 2017, 08:43:38 PM
Looking to get a hard hitting .177 but, not a whole lot of money. Some to tinker and get the job done. I see some nice deals on some AT44 refurbs. The one I'm torn with is the tactical and the standard 44. The question I have is the QE version in the caliber pretty quiet or should I go for the non QE and throw my LCD on it?

Shoot the heavier pellets like a 10 grn or so.
I have 2 .25 QE's and they are nearly silent as long as I don't use a lite pellet.
The .22 AT44 is the non QE and it's not that bad as long as I use the heavies.

At $299? I'd buy another in .177 myself if I didn't just buy a Carnivore .357 QE!

That's funny....I found and that is why I posted the question. I'm really liking the features of the tactical and I have a very good LDC. That QE rifle price is right also. I will more the likely through a Huma on it at that price.

If I had an extra $300.00 I would have already bought one...

I couldn't resist, I just ordered one in .25 caliber. This is about the best deal I have seen a long while on something I can actually use. Nice!
