Post by: AIRGUNNERMO on May 30, 2017, 11:48:46 PM
Both .22 cal.  Just plain old fun to shoot this for this old man.  A buddy of mine built these for me.  I have probably posted these before, but what the heck, I'm bored.  Besides that, I dun forgot.

I added a new bolt handle and Pachmayer slip on finger groove grip cover since I took the earlier pics.

Okay, well...mine doesn't look anything like these two, but I just rcvd a 2240 .22 today from Amazon for $54 and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and the build for the price.  I also ordered the custom fiber optic front sight...

...for $9 and hope to one of these days figure out how to install it.

But the pistol does have that kind of solid, metal feel to it that makes you want to trick it out.

Roj,

The front sight is just retained by friction. You can tap against the back of it (with a piece of wood or something soft like that) and it will pop off.
