Here's a 3D printed Single Shot Tray (SST) I've created for my Prod. (and now my collection of Mrod's)
I created the SST in Solidworks and printed it in ABS on my UP Plus 2 (Same as Afinia H480) 3D printer. I do print some things in PLA, but I find ABS is best for many parts. ABS can be tricky to print well on the inexpensive 3D printers, but these UP/Afinia printers work well with ABS. In fact, once set up right, they seem to print ABS with less fuss than they print PLA. Printing to an exact dimension can be tricky and every filament prints a little different. I do a little tuning in the CAD/STL files and on the parts to get the fit right.
The Single Shot Tray works well and I decided to put it on Ebay. If anyone is interested they can get one from my Ebay listing or PM me here. I sell them for $11.25 shipped. Additional trays are $8.30 each.

I received two White trays from Rod today. I contacted him on the evening of 5/29.... 3 days from contact to delivery 8)
I'd post some pictures but I don't see how I could do any better than the pictures Rod has already posted...
Fit and finish are outstanding. The tray slips right in with a little resistance and then lightly snaps over the barrel to lock it in place. Feeding is butter smooth, granted, I only tried domed pellets as that's all I normally shoot. alignment to the leade is perfect, I don't see any feeding issues with any .22 pellet shape. My homemade tray out of hardwood worked. Rod's tray looks and fits better!
I also have a Prod that has been converted to .177. I figured I could slightly fill in the ramp area of one of the trays if need be for feeding. No need, I normally shoot AA 10.34g pellet's, they do have a slight jump up, still, they feed in smoothly. About the only pellet I could see having trouble is .177 wadcutters. This tray was never designed for .177 though...
Really like the contrast of Rod's white tray and pellet, easier to see if the pellet flipped as its rolled into the ramp, not that I had any flip with Rods tray.
I did have the smaller .177 pellet's flip now and then when using my homemade tray, with it being painted black, I let a few pellets fly backwards because I couldn't see that it flipped... I blame the designer >:( ;D
Rod, Thanks for the outstanding product and super fast shipping ;D

Thanks for the feedback John.
I'm working on getting a Marauder in .22 or .25 and hope to make a tray for them soon. (probably .22 as I have a bunch of pellets that size.)
I've been resisting getting another rifle as I have a FX/Logun Solo in .177 and a FX/Logun Domin8tor .22. (both have some tweaks and custom LDC's from Allen Z.) However, I really like the Prod and have been shooting that most lately. I'd probably like a Mrod too.
BTW, I took the pictures with my S7 Phone. My Nikon is seriously neglected these days. It's just too easy to use the S7 for these shots.

Welcome, If you do make SST's for the .22 Mrod, count me in for two! I have one each .22 and .177 Mrod's, I'd guess the .22 tray would work well for .177 just like it does for the Prod. Assuming your using feeding friendly pellets like domes.
I also have an S7, my Nikons just sit as well. for everyday pictures, the S7's camera is hard to beat and so darn convenient!

I now have Single Shot Trays for all calibers for the Mrod rifle available. .177, .22 and .25. and the Prod Pistol .22
-
I have 2 of Rod's Single Shot Trays, one in .22 and 1 in .25. Both fit exactly. Can't ask for more.
Great work Rod!

Just ordered one for my .22 SRod.
Now get busy and make some mags for the Urban..... lol
-
would it be possible to get custom calibers made? Like .357?
-
I ordered on of these for my .25 Mrod off ebay back in August last year, not realizing you were a member here! It's worked out great and I just saw this, so I ordered a couple more, one for my .22 Mrod and one for my Prod! I'll have a full set now!
Talk about fast service, I just ordered not 10 minutes ago and already have shipping confirmation and a tracking number! WooHoo!

I hear that Paul. Mine will be here Saturday.
When I first got my SynRod I wanted a single tray. They were way over priced so I found one for a PRod. I went to work with a file and made it work. It's not perfect but, it did work. It will be nice to have one that's actually made for it.

Looks like mine gets here Friday. I already have one of a different style for the .25, but have always wanted one for the .22 also. I mainly will use it from the bench while testing and tuning and not likely while hunting.
-
Ordered Tuesday and my USPS app tells me it's in my mailbox waiting for me at home.
This is awesome, now I can give those Nielson swagged bullets that won't cycle in a mag a good testing.
I originally modified a PRod tray to fit, this will be much better.

I have modded a Crosman .25 cal SST for both .30 cal and .357.... so no reason they could not be 3D printed, IMO....

Mine arrived today, they fit perfectly! Thanks!

I just got mine in the mail and checked it out while shooting a couple of 18.13gr at my 1.5 inch target out at 50 yards offhand, It works! I gotta get use to installing it from the left though. My .25's SST and all mags load from the right side. No biggie though. I am surprised at how smooth it is compared to other 3D printed items I have seen. Very nice SST and I do thank rsmn for making and offering them to us.

Best single shot trays hands down. No one comes close to these and I’ve tried quiet a few. I’ve been loving mine.
