So I am sitting here patiently waiting for the shipping notification of my .25 Veteran when it dawned on me.... Where do you guys keep your spare mags?
I have a Gladius and some Discos so it has never been an issue before.
I did a search and really didn't come up with much and I really don't want to keep it in my pocket.
From the pictures, it looks like I may be able to store them behind the butt pad. Remove one of the screws, cut out the wood to make a recess for the mag and countersink a magnet to hold the buttpad from swinging open unexpectedly. This would allow the butt pad to swing open to expose the mag underneath.
What say you?

I'm not even sure how to remove the buttpad...

I tried pushing on it left, right, up and down and even straight back but it doesn't budge. I don't want to knock it loose and screw it up so maybe someone else will chime in...

I use a cell phone case from the Dollar Store. It clips to my belt. It came with a strip of foam inside and I use that to keep the mags from rolling around

This is the first picture I have seen of the butt pad, that I can remember. Guess I just assumed that it had screws holding it on.

Nice Scott although, my wood working skills might not be up to the task. I have better luck with larger projects than small.

A clip on cell phone case just might be the ticket.

Made some holders from kydex. Dont mind the roughness, these were made in a hurry but should work fine.

Bringing up a necro-post but I was going through my old PM's and forgot all about this old issue that someone messaged me about a few months back...
Problem has now been properly addressed I do believe.

Having a printer helps. Had I fabbed up anything by hand....well, it wouldn't be too pretty. Functional, yes, Pretty, no. Well, I take that back, I've made my own Kydex holsters and they did come out quite nice. But the time I had put into them was beyond rediculous. What the pro's do with Kydex in an hour's time would take me a week or two.
