Title: AF Talon Bounty Hunter .25 Questions

Hey guys,
I just bought a AF Talon Bounty Hunter .25 18" barrel for a great price ($250). I don't know these rifles like I do the Benjamin rifles (Disco & Mrod). Below is a 10 shot string I shot yesterday.

AF Talon BH .25 18" barrel
JSB MKII 33.95gr.
Power Wheel - 12/1
Top hat - .070

754.6

Avg. - 765.6
ES - 24.49
SD - 7.81

Accuracy was good making one ragged hole at 20yds as that is my maximum backyard distance.

Questions
1) Is this a decent string for this rifle ?
2) Is this velocity around the normal for this combination ?
3) How can I get to 800 - 825 without a bunch of mods ?

I have asked this over at the TAG and have gotten 1 response but didn't really answer my questions. I know from past experience that you guys are more than helpful, so I am asking here. My Mrod is slinging the same MKII at 816 for around 10 shots. I always thought that the AF rifles had a bit more power than the Mrod but seems as if they don't. Any responses would be appreciated.

I changed to the High Flow tank from the Condor to get the power up to 78 FPE with 43g Eunjins. The valve is the bottleneck for the .25 Talon to get the most out of it.

Do you have the 18" barrel or a 24" ? Did you add the Condor hammer weight ?

Shoot some more. The other day was the first time to use my Chrony on my air rifles(forgot I have it)which I had for 3 years My .22 Condor was shooting in the 850's at power level 1 from 3000 psi. But when pressure drops to 2700-2500 psi it goes to 1100s fps(Premiere 14.3)  and more felt recoil. 
Your fps should rise after maybe 20 shots. Now I'm thinking of getting a regulator for it.

I will try shooting it down to around 2200 and see what happens.

I have a hammer weight coming from AF. The rep said that I could gain 50fps with installing just the weight. I will try this when the weight arrives as well.

Want to be a part of the thread.  I have an Airforce Talon in .25 and I love it!  Had and LDC made and now can shoot in the backyard.
